What it is
Aether Refiner is a single-player puzzle game you can play anywhere, with no account and no connection. Thirty hand-built levels take you from your first copper ore to a finished masterwork, using the same crafting chains the MMORPG is built on — metallurgy, forestry, alchemy, arcana and textiles.
It is set in the world of The Great Cloud. That is the whole connection: there is no sign-in, nothing carries across, and nothing here asks you to play the other game.
How a level plays
- Swap two neighbours. Ordinary match-three controls — one swipe, no hidden gestures.
- Three become one. Line up three of the same piece and they do not simply vanish: they refine into a single piece of the next tier, right where you made the match. Three copper ore become a bronze ingot.
- Refine again. Three of those become a component; three components become a masterwork. The board is a forge, not a clearing job.
- Meet the objective. Each level asks for specific crafted items within a move budget, with blockers and hostile pieces in the way from level six onwards.
Screenshots
Real device captures from the signed build go here before launch. These are labelled empty slots, not mock-ups — we would rather show you nothing than show you something the game does not look like.

What we promise about this version
-
Every level can be beaten without paying
Not a policy — a test. A solver plays every shipped level within its base move budget using legal moves only, and checks that no level can reach a dead board. The build does not ship if that test fails.
-
Nothing is for sale
No in-app purchases, no currency, no boosters, no season pass. The in-game store tab exists only to tell you it sells nothing.
-
No ads
None of any kind — not between levels, not for rewards, not disguised as anything else.
-
It works offline, because it has to
This version requests no permissions at all, including internet access. Your progress is saved on your device and goes nowhere.
-
No dark patterns
No countdown timers, no "only 3 left", no fake players celebrating. If a level is hard, it is hard on purpose.
These statements describe version 1.0, the version being submitted to Google Play. Later versions may add features — a companion mode is planned — and if any of the above changes, it changes here and in the privacy notice before that version is released, not after.
